Dual-Boot Windows Vista with other Operating Systems

Install other Operating Systems on a Windows Vista computer so they will all boot on that computer.
Create natural dual-boots, triple-boots or multi-boots without using any third-party booting utility.
All combinations have been tested successfully many times.

Windows Vista is already installed and you want to keep it!
If Windows Vista is not already on your computer, go to the Dual-Boot Centre.

  1. Dual-boot Vista + Win7 (Vista installed first)
  2. Dual-boot Vista + Vista (Vista installed first)
  3. Dual-boot Vista + XP (Vista installed first)
  4. Dual-boot Vista + 2K (Vista installed first)
  5. Dual-boot Vista + 9x/Me (Vista installed first)
  6. Dual-boot Vista + MS-DOS 7.10 (Vista installed first)
     
  7. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 11.04 leaving Vista in control (Vista installed first)
  8. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 11.04 putting GRUB2 in control (Vista installed first)
  9. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 10.04 leaving Vista in control (Vista installed first)
  10. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 10.04 putting GRUB in control (Vista installed first)
  11. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 9.04 leaving Vista in control (Vista installed first)
  12. Dual-boot Vista + Linux Ubuntu 8.04 leaving Vista in control (Vista installed first)
