Fortunately many can be corrected

Most links to Updates & Big Fixes for Windows 95 still apply at this time. As stated previously, Microsoft has implemented an online download facility.If any links fail, then try, online, at Microsoft Download Wizard
To install, simply Double-click on the download file.
The order of installation is sometimes important.
Always reboot when requested by Windows.
Having gone to the trouble of downloading the updates, be very sure you save them to a safe area - many updates are necessary. For storage it is convenient to mark (rename) each update according to its order of installation e.g. 111setup.exe, 112oleupd.exe, 113krnlupd.exe, .....
